This brooch is a puddle of silence —
muddy, uncertain, inescapable.
Inspired by the verse:
"no hay forma de que el agua se vuelva palabra"
("there’s no way for water to become word"),
the piece explores containment and constraint.
Porcelain curves into stillness,
silver keeps the edges tight,
gold hides inside — like something unsaid.
You can’t swim in it.
You can’t step out dry.
Silencio stays with you.
